I have worn many hats in my career, from working as a camera woman to a project manager for a sign company to serving as an accounting manager for a wireless carrier to being a general manager for Pirelli Rubber Flooring and working in the field with fire and water damage restoration, where I managed claims with adjusters. But my most rewarding role, however, has been as a receptionist that transitioned into a licensed agent for an independent insurance agency. It was there that I discovered my true calling—educating clients and providing them with proper coverage for their needs. This is how I found my passion and have since committed myself to this fulfilling career. Through hard work and determination, I advanced to my current role at Big Sky Agency, where I am dedicated to helping clients protect what matters most to them.
I wake up every day looking forward to helping and educating both the staff and clients. That to me is the most important detail of my position. For example, I once had a client come in to add a vehicle for her teenage daughter. She bought the car for cash and didn’t want to add comprehensive nor collision. I advised that she needed it since teenage drivers were more likely to get into an accident. So reluctantly, she did take my advice. A few months later, she came back into the office to tell me how her daughter totaled the car, and they were not out all the money they paid for the car, just their deductible. She was very happy and thanked me.
This is just one example of how important it is to me to help people. Whether I am at work or out, I seem to always have a conversation with someone about how important insurance coverage is. I am always looking for a way to help people in any way.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband on our Harley. I also volunteer at different functions at Grain Valley High School where my daughter attends. I am active with the Grain Valley anti-bullying ordinance. I like to give back to my community whenever possible.
If you would like me to help you, give me a call or email me and I will be more than happy to assist in a policy review.
