My career started working with computers in IT. What I found is that the Corporate environment did not meet my ambitions. So I decided to venture off on my own and became a residential appraiser. Along the housing field, this brought me over to insurance, where I became an Allstate Agency Owner. I learned a lot, but always felt like my hands were tied in promoting my business, my contracting agreement changed on a yearly basis, and I felt like I was back working for a corporate entity. I built relationships with clients, but eventually, their rates would get high enough, it didn’t make sense for them to stay with me at Allstate. So, I no longer work with Allstate and started an Independent insurance agency where I am in complete control of the needs of my agency, employees, and clients. Now, I can offer multiple carriers to my clients to keep their costs down and the agency gets to keep our relationships.

I struggled at Allstate for a few years but finally learned that there are two important themes to running a good insurance agency. First, take care of the customer. Not by selling them a policy because I am not a great salesperson. It’s through education and devising an insurance plan that fits into their budget. The second is the people who work with me and the agency, who meet our core values and strive to be teachers of insurance, rather than salespeople.

Our agency will always provide contagious enthusiasm and always have a positive attitude. We will always provide convenience and education in a professional atmosphere with licensed employees. Our agency will be organized to provide a service to customers while providing an exceptional place to work. We compensate employees based on their performance and efforts because we realize that our success depends on the efforts of every member of our agency.

We understand that it is our responsibility to provide an education to our clients that encourages peace of mind. Our Client sales process includes a complete explanation of all possible risks as well as a list of possible solutions.

In the event of a claim, we strive to provide immediate assistance and stay involved. We will be there when our clients plan their futures as well as when they have their first accident or lose a loved one. There is no greater feeling than knowing we can replace the financial loss even though we cannot replace property or lives.

In my downtime, I still tinker with computers, I enjoy my time with friends on a boat at a lake, adventure riding on motorcycles, traveling, exercising, and hanging with my loving family and dogs.

What I want? People who want to understand their insurance and people who would like to get started in a great career as we are always looking for good co-workers who want to help people!
